“And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.”
Mark 1:35 KJV
Did it ever occur to you that maybe God just wants some of your time? Did it ever occur to you that just like any other relationship, the one with God also requires putting in time and effort? We really have to stop and evaluate to whom and what do we give our time daily. I myself have found that lately, I haven’t been spending as much time with God as I know that I should. I mean, after all, we do have time for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, etc. But what about God? Jesus came as a living and breathing example of the ways in which we should follow. He woke up in the morning to ensure he spent time with his father, something we all should consider. Starting your day with the Lord will not only prepare for the day ahead but also give you wisdom and understanding.
I encourage you to begin seeking God when waking up in the morning. Find that quiet time and let him speak to you. Sometimes it’s good to just get away from the worries of life, after all, you never want to abandon God chasing what the world has to offer.
