“For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.”2 Corinthians 5:14-15 KJV
Who and what are we living our lives for? Every time something doesn’t go as planned are you woe is me? Is everything always happening to you? I’ve learned in my 25 years that life happens. Sometimes we create our own storms, sometimes it’s the enemy and other times it’s just the happenings of life and it’s neither you or the enemy.
We must realize that this life nor the things we go through are about us! You see, your purpose is in your pain! Christ purpose was in his pain. Ruth’s purpose was in her pain. Paul’s purpose was in his pain. We need to begin to be team players! I mean, imagine if Christ had not died for us all and said he wasn’t going to Calvary! You’d still be dead in your sin with no hope for eternal life.
Today I encourage you to see that everything is for God’s glory, not our own. It is He who makes this thing called life possible. Anybody that was and is great has gone through the storms of life. You are great and the purpose on your life is great!
Be blessed and let God’s grace surround you today and into the new year!!
